The Cultural Endowment of Estonia shall sign an agreement with the recipient of the grant.
The terms and conditions of payment shall be determined by the Traducta committee and specified in the agreement.

The translation grant is generally paid out as follows:
  • 60% of the amount is paid out when the publisher or performing arts institution has accepted the translation and paid at least 60% of the fee to the translator, and confirmations of payment and receipt (the publisher's payment order and the translator's confirmation letter) have reached the Cultural Endowment.
  • 40% of the amount is paid out when the publisher or performing arts institution has paid the remaining fee to the translator, and confirmations of payment and receipt (the publisher's payment order and the translator's confirmation letter), and 5 copies of the book and the PDF file have reached the Cultural Endowment.
The publisher does not have to pay the translator's fee in several installments, but can pay it all at once.

The translation grant of a dramatic work is generally paid out when the performing arts institution has paid the fee to the translator, and confirmation of payment (the publisher's payment order) has reached the Cultural Endowment.

The publication grant is generally paid out when the PDF file and 5 copies of the book have reached the Cultural Endowment.

The sample translation grant will be paid out when the translated excerpt has reached the Cultural Endowment.

The terms and conditions of the agreement generally include the following obligations:
  • the support from the Traducta programme must be mentioned in the publication in the target language of the translation in the following wording: This book has been supported by the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, Traducta programme.
  • the logo of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia must be added to the text
  • five copies of the publication must be submitted to the Cultural Endowment

Four copies of the publication submitted to the Cultural Endowment will be distributed to professional organizations:
  • one copy to the National Library of Estonia;
  • one copy to the Estonian Literary Museum;
  • two copies to the Estonian Literature Centre (excluding works of children's literature);
  • two copies to the Estonian Children's Literature Centre (works of children's literature).
The PDF files of the works will be given to professional organizations to promote Estonian literature.
